Founder & Managing Director
Sebastian founded HBG in 2018 after years inside large recruitment agencies where he saw the same problems repeated: slow response times, account managers who had never placed a candidate themselves, and a disconnect between the people selling the service and the people delivering it.
HBG was built to solve those problems from day one. The person who takes the job order is the same person who sources, screens, and presents the candidates. There is no hand-off, no lost context, and no excuses.
Today, Sebastian still recruits daily — personally managing key client relationships while overseeing national operations across five offices in Australia and New Zealand. He leads the technology and automation strategy that gives HBG its edge, and remains the driving force behind the company’s culture of speed, accountability, and quality.
