HBG holds current labour hire licences in New South Wales, Queensland, Victoria, and Western Australia, as well as an ACT licence for work in the Australian Capital Territory. We also operate in New Zealand under local employment law.
Every worker supplied by HBG is covered by $20 million public liability insurance, workers compensation insurance in the relevant state, and professional indemnity coverage. We carry current certificates of currency for all policies and provide them to clients on request. All workers are employed directly by Harrison Barratt Group under standard employment agreements. This means HBG is responsible for all employer obligations including PAYG withholding, superannuation guarantee contributions at the current rate, payroll tax in each state, portable long service leave levies where applicable, and all leave entitlements under the relevant Modern Award. Host employers receive the benefit of a fully compliant workforce without taking on any of the legal, financial, or administrative burden of being the employer of record.
